The liriope grass had taken over and the rocks were sinking. You only get the benefit of seeing the space after the storm. They cleaned out all the rocks, dug out all the liriope grass and leveled the ground. Once this was done they put the rocks back and planted a clean line of the liriope grass to soften up the space and add texture.
The neighbors were thrilled. They received a boat load of liriope grass to add into their garden.
Plant sharing is so simple especially when dealing with grassy type plants. They are die hard.
